So today marks three years since the first Imaginary Daughter strip was posted online. I figure it’s as good a time as any to update you on the book status.
- All pages have been, for lack of a better word, remastered. That means panels have been adjusted to fit in the correct paper size, colours have been tweaked, glaring drawings mistakes have been (hopefully) corrected, text has been fully retyped, rewritten and tightened, the few previously digitally-painted pages have been done in watercolours, and a number of other edits.
- Covers and extra drawings are done, but need to be edited.
- 10 pages of text have been written and added at the end, as a Commentary Track of sorts. This needs a bit more editing and the layout is still incomplete but it’s otherwise nearly done.
- Still need to draw a spread that I want to add near the beginning.
All in all, I figure about a week’s worth of work – assuming I find the time to have a go at it. I’ll update again when it’s done!
Nice to hear it’s almost done! Waiting, paypal in hand
Good luck!
Looking forward to this so much!
What happened to Karchesky.com?
It no longer loads, and all link I try die!
Karchesky.com is no more! If you want to read Imaginary Daughter, check out one of the mirrors, or hold on a bit until I repost it here
Hey, it’s Kirizaki from back when it was still Karchesky.com.
I’m looking forward to the published version of Imaginary Daughter, but the main reason I’m posting is to ask if you remember back when I mentioned Imaginary Sister, the comic I was working on.
Hey! Yes, I remember, and I see you’ve begun posting it. Congrats!
