So today marks three years since the first Imaginary Daughter strip was posted online. I figure it’s as good a time as any to update you on the book status.

  • All pages have been, for lack of a better word, remastered. That means panels have been adjusted to fit in the correct paper size, colours have been tweaked, glaring drawings mistakes have been (hopefully) corrected, text has been fully retyped, rewritten and tightened, the few previously digitally-painted pages have been done in watercolours, and a number of other edits.
  • Covers and extra drawings are done, but need to be edited.
  • 10 pages of text have been written and added at the end, as a Commentary Track of sorts. This needs a bit more editing and the layout is still incomplete but it’s otherwise nearly done.
  • Still need to draw a spread that I want to add near the beginning.

All in all, I figure about a week’s worth of work – assuming I find the time to have a go at it. I’ll update again when it’s done!
