Starting today, you can buy Imaginary Daughter online, but I’d like to ask you to wait for a bit before splurging, since I’m still waiting for my proof copies. This is why I’m not giving you the links to the store right now.
It’s a bit complicated. It’s been a while since I’ve felt like such a noob. Basically it involves ISBNs, barcodes, Point-Of-Sales and stuff, and if you don’t know what those are and/or how they work, welcome to the past two weeks of my life. Anyway, the bottom line is that the book is already being sold even though I haven’t yet had a chance to check the actual real-world product.
I did go carefully over the originals and the digital proof, but you never know. On the other hand, you could buy it now and perhaps end with a valuable buggy first-edition that will one day sell for millions once I become a comic-world star…
Right. Better just wait until I publish the store links, which should be in two to three weeks if I’m to believe what I’m told.
Just a little teaser:

I’d much rather wait for a Leo-approved copy anyway.
Congrats tho. It’s good to see all your long hours & hard work paying off (literally).
Thanks, I’ll be sure to be rolling in money now
Well it’s probally a good thing that there will a bit of a wait. I’m broke now anyways, but I will have money after my next paycheck. Though at this rate it seems like I might be two or three paychecks away from actually getting the privilege of throwing money at you.
It turned out to be more expensive than I thought it would be, so yeah, better start saving
On the other hand, it’s going to be up for sale indefinitely so you can take all the time you want
Dare I ask how much so I don’t get stickershock when I do buy it?
$19.50 plus S&H. It’s a lot of full-color pages, which really drives up the price
Oh that wasn’t as expensive as I orginally thought. I’ve bought books based on webcomics that were $30 so I orginally thought it was going to be that high or higher. Sorry for the lack of update, but I bought the book months ago and I really enjoyed it. I don’t know how to post pics on the internet or otherwise I would and send you it.
Well, thanks for buying the book, and I’m really glad you enjoyed it! If you want to post pics you can always do it on the Facebook or Google+ pages
