Oh, I like them too. But I generally prefer a small ratio of text to graphics in comics, plus these are a bunch of text pages all in a row, hence the comment/apology
They’re *so* not just a bunch of text pages, but you already know that of course The way they are higher every page, showing graphically they are in an elevator, plus the way the darkness climbs up the tower chasing them –even if the darkness wasn’s supposed to be able to go up, just down… or is this a different kind of darkness, huh?– speak volumes… more, actually, than the text itself.

Yup, it’s a different kind of darkness, more metaphorical(*) – after all, right after this part is where the bomb is dropped, so to speak.
Perhaps I’ll use more walls of text in my next works, then…?
